Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager performs duties to identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and grow business for DMCR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Increasing client base
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Protects DMCR’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Enhances DMCR’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Other duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, sales or relevant field, required
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, sales or relevant field, preferred

Experience:
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus

  • N/A

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Clinical Research market knowledge
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain high-level relationships
  • Excellent planning and time-management skills
